Project: Convenia

Client: Pfizer Animal Health

Typical antibiotic regimens require pet owners to administer daily oral medications over a course of several weeks. The veterinarian has no guarantee that the pet receives the full course of treatment. 3FX helped introduce Pfizer’s Convenia to vets, for treatment of soft tissue infections. It is a single subcutaneous injection with an extremely long elimination half-life, enabling a single injection to completely replace up to two weeks of oral antibiotics.

Project: Faslodex

Client: AstraZeneca

Post-menopausal women still produce low levels of estrogen from other organs in the body. This estrogen has been shown to bind to estrogen receptors within cancer cells, stimulating them to grow and multiply. This 2-minute MOA educates patients and consumers to visualize how Faslodex binds to the cancer cells estrogen receptors, blocking the normal estrogen binding and cancer cell growth.

Client: IVAX Pharmaceuticals

Showing the benefits of the small QVAR particle size vs competing products was the goal of the IVAX Marketing team. This animation combines marketing, education, clinical data into a single message visual. Designing the animation to blend with current marketing efforts, you may see a full size poster from our animation in your doctor’s exam room. All 3D…all 3FX.

Project: Zyvox

Client: Pfizer Global Learning and Development

In an effort to create an educational presentation for sales rep training, 3FX teamed with Firebrand Films to develop a program to educate them on bacterial infections. Interspersed within Firebrand’s live action sequences were detailed animations depicting various type of skin and open wound infections. The blend of accurate and detailed animations within the live action story of a doctor and his patients presents a documentary style educational video that engages the viewer.

Project: Multiple Sclerosis

Client: Pfizer, Global Learning and Development

On the success of previous Pfizer projects, 3FX once again teamed with Firebrand Films to produce a Sales Rep training DVD visualizing the pathophysiology of multiple sclerosis. Beginning with the normal functioning of the CNS, the animations move to illustrate the cellular interactions that take place during the onset of MS, including how the patient’s own immune system attacks and causes the irreversible neuronal damage.

Project: OSI Pharmaceuticals

Client: Northstar Creative Group

Northstar Creative Group turned to 3FX to develop animation visuals for an interactive kiosk that engaged the audience to learn more about tumor pathways. Individual sequences visualized various tumor processes including dimerization, angiogenesis, proliferation, invasion, metastasis, and tumor death. Introduced at ASCO, the kiosks provided educational opportunities for all attendees.

Project: OROS

Client: Janssen Pharmaceuticals

Janssen chose 3FX to create a mechanism of action animation illustrating an innovative extended release drug delivery system. Creatively incorporating marketing elements in a way that grabs viewers attention, the animation clearly shows the structure and functioning of the capsule delivery technology. The timing of the drug release and absorption happens throughout the digestive tract, and 3FX dynamically follows it through the process.

Project: SILO Spinal System

Client: Medtronic Sofamor Danek

A full spinal reconstruction procedure involves many individual hardware components and multiple specialized tools. In order to educate surgeons on the specific Medtronic systems, 3FX was asked to develop visuals that show the step by step process. This was a “visuals only” project, as it is presented to live audiences and the speaker explains the procedure. Using Medtronic 3D CAD files as the basis for modeling, 3FX maintained complete accuracy of all the elements, while allowing a more efficient production timeline.

Sometimes the simplest approach is the best. Using a client high resolution marketing image as the background, 3FX combined our 3D animation of the devices to look like they were within the 2D background image.
