Project: ZICAM TV Spots

Agency: Wachter Editorial

Just as the cold & flu season was to begin, 3FX was called upon for some creative product animation for a broadcast television commercial. Originally a single animation project, the Creative Team at 3FX developed animation, visual effects, compositing and editing services to produce a series of commercials featuring several Zicam products. Throughout the winter season, these spots highlighted the work of 3FX.

Healthcare Agency Test

Sometimes the medical work we do doesn’t include anything medical. In this case, 3FX was contacted by a leading healthcare agency to see if we had animated a Rhinoceros. We hadn’t, but everyone on our team has such wide-ranging talents and abilities, they were eager to try. Two days later, we sent them a sample. Another case where 3FX is able to provide whatever our clients need.

Project: Pulmi and his Pals

Agency: AstraZeneca

It’s not easy getting a small child to spend 10 minutes breathing medication through a nebulizer and face mask. 3FX took the effort to turn a Saatchi & Saatchi designed 2D print character into 3D. After presenting the possibilities, 3FX was contracted to develop a series of 10-minute entertainment modules featuring Pulmi and his Pals on various adventures. Featured on the product website and on direct mailer patient DVDs, our 3D Pulmi and Pals characters help young children with asthma be everyday kids.

Project: Virginia Museum of Natural History

Client: Cinebar Productions

Science takes on many forms. Our advanced ability to develop and animate organic forms and environments led us to be contacted to produce various animations visualizing the life history of plants, animals, underwater life land surrounding Virginia. Extensive research and creative deduction allow viewers to see what the area was millions of years ago.

3FX was asked to create awareness around a new inhalation drug. We created eye catching visuals that showcased the drug delivery system. This was a pre-launch promotional piece, played on the trade show floor.

3FX was asked to create a physician education animated presentation, depicting the key elements of ProDrug technology. Eye catching visuals were created to showcase the emerging technology. This animation was utilized on the trade show floor.

Project: Rohm & Haas

Agency: Refinery

Developing visuals in a 3D form allows for a multitude of options and creative expression…even if the final look is 2D. This creative corporate image piece designed by Refinery introduces the new Rohm & Haas branding and messaging. This project was a great collaboration between agency and animators.

Project: Augmentin XR

Agency: BTK Communications & GSK

Designed for broadcast on a private physician cable network, BTK Communications collaborated with 3FX to create this 90-second promotional video for patients with sinusitis. Combining live action video with 3D animation provides extra interest for viewers. Proper planning between the video and animation crews assured great results.

Project: New Product Branding

Agency: TEVA Specialty Pharmaceuticals

Following a corporate acquisition, TSP asked 3FX for an updated version of our original Ivax QVAR MOA animation. Utilizing the original project data, 3FX incorporated new branding and design elements into a marketing and educational presentation that blends with the new marketing efforts of the new exhibit booth. With marketing, education, clinical data charts, and product comparisons, this 5 minute animation debuted at AAAAI, and providing respiratory specialists a complete and detailed product view.
